What is a Scheduled Refresh?

When you have a semantic model in import mode in Power BI (Semantic model modes in the Power BI service), you can configure scheduled refreshes in Power BI Services. Sign-in with your publish account on https://app.powerbi.com and schedule a refresh (Configure scheduled refresh).

Email failures

Of course it's important to get notified on failure. But if you use Webdashboard with Standard licensing, you can't add any users to the 'Send refresh failure notifications to'.
How Webdashboard makes this work.
Always make sure the checkbox 'Dataset owner' is marked like this:
By default with these settings all the Portal Admins will get a notification when a refresh fails on this dataset.
You can edit the users that get this notification by configuring them in Webdashboard. 
Navigate to Settings -> Shared Capacity Refreshes -> Settings 
You can add the E-mail addresses here. They don't need to be Webdashboard Users.
